Margaret Mackenzie is a senior at Madison West High School.  She has studied harp with Mary Ann Harr for nine years, and has been a harpist in the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras program for eight years.  Margaret was the WYSO Philharmonia Concerto winner in 2003.   She has attended Interlochen Arts Camp, Lac du Bois (Concordia Language Village),  Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, the UW Summer Music Clinic and this past summer travelled to Europe with WYSO. 

As an artist, Margaret has worked with pencil, pen, charcoal, acrylics, watercolor, linoleum, woodcut, art metal and beads.  As a drawing minor at Interlochen she was selected as Best of Class.  In 2003, Margaret won Best of Art Glass in the West High School Fine Arts Week Gallery Show.

Margaret plans to study both music and art in college.
